The Green Course
Designed by J.H. Turner and opened for play in 1930, the Green may be the shortest of our three courses, but it is immensely rewarding for those who prize accuracy and shot-making.
The Green Course is crafted for the strategic golfer, where tight fairways and smaller, well-protected greens demand careful navigation. The layout winds through intimate pockets of the estate, offering a tranquil journey through corridors of mature trees and vibrant heather that provide a secluded haven for local birdlife.
Its playability and varied holes make it a firm favourite among members, with the experience culminating at the signature 18th, a challenging par-three played toward the clubhouse that requires one final display of accuracy to finish a memorable round.
True to the Frilford Heath ethos, the Green Course offers a classic golfing test set within the quiet beauty of the Oxfordshire landscape.
